I work with memories, ideas and transform what I see.
I draw, I draw a lot, it is a way of seeing the world, of exploring it and integrating it into the images I create. Sometimes, ideas come from the meditation I do every morning, from my spiritual practice.
Who is Ruiz Limón?
Passion for creating and communicating.
My work is divided between the internal and the external, between the perceptible world and the intrinsic. Sometimes they mix, overlap, creating dreamlike pieces. It is rare that there is a landscape, although there are some. Rather, I recreate pieces of reality, the human figure, details of nature. Geometric compositions allow me to play with shape, color and emotion.
I have been surrounded by art since I was a child, but when I discovered Modigliani I fell in love with art. I am also inspired by Lucian Freud, Euan Uglow, Joaquim Sunyer, Paul Klee, Moholy Nagy, Gunther Gerzso and Hundertwasser.
